Wel­come to our unique and com­pre­hen­sive reg­is­ter of wom­en’s achieve­ments in Australia. 

Estab­lished in 1993, it is the only archive in Aus­tralia ded­i­cat­ed to the his­to­ry of women from all walks of life.

Her­Sto­ry is a phys­i­cal archive con­tain­ing thou­sands of doc­u­ments, pho­tographs and cor­re­spon­dence kept in files.

Over time, we are mak­ing these avail­able online, hon­our­ing wom­en’s achieve­ments as an inte­gral part of Aus­tralian history.
